Our Inspiration for Silver King
Every great vacation begins with a story, and Silver King is no exception. Our story began with a love of fishing the pristine waters of the Florida Gulf Coast, a passion for island living, and a dream to create a place where our family and friends can gather, escape and unwind.
We love to fish the back water, flats but our reel love is fishing the king of all fish, the powerful and majestic Silver King.
We settled on Anna Maria Island because of its breathtaking beaches, charming community and the perfect blend of adventure and tranquility. The tarpon fishing near the Skyway Bridge and in the pass near Egmont Key is abundant. Morning sunrises, evening sunsets, shelling, sea turtle hatches, fishing every species, the boutiques, award winning culinary experiences are just a few reasons to love the island. We hope the Silver King on Tarpon Street is as relaxing for you as it is for our family. Enjoy your time away from the hustle and bustle and get out there and catch the king!
About Us
Hi, we are Tiffany and Dave. We live just across Tampa Bay from the island. While we are a family of 5, these days it is just Dave, our German Shepherd dog named T and me, until the college breaks, at which times our life resembles the Gravatron or maybe it is the Zipper.
Whether you’re here to relax by the pool, drink margaritas in the hot tub, play a friendly game of chip and put or explore the island’s vibrant culture or enjoy water adventures right from the canal-front dock, we’ve designed Silver King for you. It is more than just a vacation rental for your family and ours, it’s a place where memories are made.
